What is the manage menus feature in the MegaMenu Configurations?

After configuring the custom items and creating a block using existing categories & products or selecting the custom items, you need to manage the menu by selecting the layout of the menu. For designing the menu layouts, there are different snippets provided to do so. Let’s dig deeper.

Note: You also need to configure the Mega Menu in the page layouts in order to showcase them on the front end.

Backend

Login to the backend. Navigate to the Theme FlareManage Menus to configure the header menu with the list to display in the frontend to the customers. You can edit the existing menu and can add a new one by pressing “Add New Menu” as per your requirement.

Name: Enter the suitable name for the menu for identification. The inserted name will not appear on the menu. You need to configure the page layout for that.

Snippets: There are 5 snippets available to customize the menu layout. To preview any ‘snippet’, select the snippet and press the “Structural Preview” button. It will show the preview of the selected snippet for the store view. So, you can manage the layout as per the section of the snippet.

Snippet 1:

If you have selected Snippet 1, you can have the “Preview” of the snippet and you need to manage the below menu content.

Custom Blocks: You need to select the blocks that are added in the “Manage Custom Blocks”. You need to select which block you want to display and provide access to the shopper from the store.

By pressing the “Add Custom Block” button, you will get the drop-down menu of the block section from the right side with its relevant name. You can add more than one block under the menu.

If you are editing the existing “Menu”, you can also edit the selected custom blocks by clicking on the “Edit” icon and want to remove them by clicking on the “Delete” icon.

After configuring the snippet press the Modify/Save button to save the configurations.

Product Slider: By pressing the “Product Slider” tab, you can display the products with images in the slider. You just have to enter the names of the product and the slider will appear on the right side in the menu layout.

Click on the “Save” button to save all the modifications.

If you select Snippet 2, you can “Preview” that snippet and you need to manage only a “Custom Block”.

By clicking on the “Add Custom Block” button, you will get the block selection dropdown option from the right side with its relevant name. You can add more than one block under the menu.

If you are editing the existing “Menu”, you can also edit selected custom blocks by clicking on the “Edit” icon and if you want to remove it, you can by clicking on the “Delete” icon.

After configuring the Snippet, click on the “Update” button to modify/save the configuration and click on the “Save” button to save all the modifications.
