With the User Guide feature, you can guide your shopper in with the interactive user guide for all tabs and designing features properly. This guide will work as the tips that will help your shopper in the designing process. Let’s dig deeper, how you can enable a user guide for your store.
Backend
To enable the user guide go to Stores ➤ Configurations ➤ Product designer Settings, you will land on the “Configurations” pages.
You can find the “Enable User Guide” feature under the “General” settings.
Enable User Guide: Select “Yes” to enable the interactive user guide on the product designer tool.
After selecting, click on the “Save Config” button to save it for your store.
Now navigate to the Product Designer ➤ Manage Tab, to add the interactive user guide by keeping in mind the main tabs.
On the “Manage Tabs” page, you will get the list of the main tabs.
Now open the tabs in the “Edit” mode and you will redirect to the “Tabs Details Page”
Under the User Guide, you will find the “Left Panel Tooltip” & “Right Panel Tooltip”. Add the respective text in the “Left Panel Tooltip” & “Right Panel Tooltip” and click on the “Save Tab” button to save it in your store.
Frontend
After configuring at the backend, your shopper will get the user guide by clicking on any tab which is located on the “How do you want to start” page. To get this page you have to click on the “Help” icon above the designer tool.
If you have entered the short message in the “Left Panel Tooltip” from the backend, your shopper will get the user guide message on the left side.
If you have entered the short message in the “Right Panel Tooltip” from the backend, your shopper will get the user guide message on the right side.
