The color picker lets your shopper pick their favorite color for designing the product. Your shopper can pick any color in the BYI designer tool. Let’s see how you can enable it in your product designer tool.
Backend
To enable the color picker go to Stores ➤ Configurations ➤ Product Designer Settings, you will land on the “Configurations” page.
You can find the “Color Picker” feature under the “Color Picker” section.
Default Color for Color Picker: Select the default color from the “Red”, “Black”, “White”, and “Green” which will be shown on any color picker throughout the product designer tool.
Enable Custom Color Picker: Select “Yes” to enable the Custom Color Picker at the product designer tool.
After configuring the settings, click on the “Save Config” button to save in your store.
Frontend
After configuring the color picker from the backend, your shopper can pick the desired color from the “Custom” tab.
Your shopper can also see CMYK boxes at the bottom of the “Custom” tab only after enabling the CMYK from the backend. Your shopper also has an option to select the color by inserting the CMYK values.
Note: If “CMYK” is not enabled from the backend then the “RGB” Color picker will be visible under the “Custom Color” tab.
