What are the 3D printing methods for shoes?

Previously shoemaking was done entirely by hands. In every sector, 3D printing can be utilized and the fashion industry is not an exception. Shoes are intricate and are very time-consuming to develop.

But now 3D technology has stepped into it and has revolutionized the process of shoe manufacturing. Let’s have a look at what are the 3D printing methods for shoes.

Pocket-friendly Shoe Printing Process

Before the shoes undergo the 3D printing process, firstly their digital copy needs to be sculpted out. The SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) process transforms the nylon-based powders into solid plastic and it is used for accuracy and durability while working. Also, the finished output is durable.

Sometimes post processing demands tend to increase the cost. So another method you can use is FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling). In the FDM method printer shapes layer by layer plastic filament. This method is also cost-effective and doesn’t require additional work
